Black & Decker 40 Amp High Frequency Battery Charger with Smart Interface is designed to automatically select the ideal charging conditions for the battery used in boat, lawnmower, vehicle, golf cart and many more. It features high frequency charging technology that charges up to two times faster than conventional chargers and provides pure DC output to provide a stable charge. This charger has a patented alternator check which indicates condition of the alternator and a reverse hook-up protection that prevents the damage caused by incorrect terminal connections. It consists of a digital LED display showing the battery voltage and the battery's reconditioning improves its ability to accept a charge. This charger’s microprocessor automatically switches between charging mode and float mode monitoring for optimal battery life.
