The Schumacher SE-1-12S Fully Automatic 1.5-amp Onboard Battery Charger is an AC powered automatic trickle charger / maintainer for use with 12 volt lead-acid batteries. The unit features an automatic charge cycling process that allows charging to turn on and off automatically as is necessary, and its "onboard" design and included hardware makes for easy, convenient mounting adjacent to batteries both inside and away from vehicles. Additional features include: 1.5-amp trickle charge rate, an LED charge indicator, reverse-hookup protection, molded plastic case and short leads for safety.
Designed to allow for safe charging of batteries used with RV, street rods, classic cars, mototcycles and snowmobiles, as well as deep-cycle or most other commonly used lead-acid batteries, the Schumacher SE-1-12S Fully Automatic Onboard Battery Charger is a convenient accessory suitable for use with most any vehicle that experiences long storage periods between uses, or requires improved battery performance during cold weather. Light, rugged and compact, its low-profile "onboard" outer design and included mounting hardware allow for easy mounting close to, if not directly on your battery's outer housing. This makes it perfect for use as a dedicated trickle charger, although it can also to mounted away from your vehicle in the case of dedicated, stand-alone charge stations for batteries. Once mounted, with the permanent ring terminal connections made and the AC power cord properly connected to a grounded 120-volt outlet*, the SE-1-12S automatically switches between charge mode and maintain mode as necessary. The charger contains an easy-to-read LED indicators related to battery connection and charge state, and an electronic control circuit which safeguards against overcharging the battery ensuring that your stored battery is safely kept at proper levels and will be ready when you need it.
Additional features include: reverse hook-up protection that keeps power from flowing unless a proper connection exists; a 1.5-amp trickle charge rate; intentionally short battery leads and AC power cord that won't get tangled in moving engine parts; and a rugged molded plastic outer case.
Schumacher Electric Corporation (the "Manufacturer") warrants this battery charger for two (2) years from the date of purchase at retail against defective material or workmanship that may occur under normal use and care. If your unit is not free from defective material or workmanship, Manufacturer's obligation under this warranty is solely to repair or replace your product with a new or reconditioned unit at the option of the Manufacturer. It is the obligation of the purchaser to forward the unit, along with mailing charges prepaid to the Manufacturer or its authorized representatives in order for repair or replacement to occur.

The Multi US 7002 is also perfectly suited for Optima Yellow Top batteries and can also be connected for months, which is ideal for seasonal vehicles.
The Multi US 7002 is specifically developed for different needs, vehicles and batteries. With this in mind users can choose between several different modes. These include: Normal, for wet, maintenance-free and most Gel batteries; Cold Weather mode, recommended for use in conditions <41°F; Supply Mode, a maintenance mode supplying a constant voltage of 13.6V; and Recond Mode, a unique mode used to recondition batteries that have been severely discharged.
